About Us

Welcome to our about us page! First of all we are an African American family of four (RAJ, Alexis, Alex, and Jojo) and we reside in New York City. We love to travel, watch movies, read books, play board games, play video games etc. (the picture above was taken at Red Rock Canyon just outside of Las Vegas)

While we have a lot in common as a family we each have our own specific interests. We are an eclectic bunch and we wanted to share these interests with you and also provide you with relevant interesting insightful information.

We feel there are too many "heavy" websites about the African American Family. When we say "heavy" we mean sites that tell many sad stories about family dysfunction. While there is truth to many of these stories there are many African American families that are doing ok.

So we became inspired and wanted to create an informative yet fun website where we can focus on the each member of the family. All we needed was the delivery method for this info.

After stumbling around on other websites looking for a starting point we came across this site 2create-a-website.com. Lisa provided some clear concise info about website building and eventually recommended Site Build It and the rest is history.
